hus magazine, the first English-language issue of our printed magazine on contemporary art, is now available.

The curator of the Summer (2) 2026 issue of hus magazine is Pier Paolo Pancotto. He has selected the artists Guglielmo Castelli – the creator of the cover artwork, Giulia Cenci, Lulù Nuti and Namsal Siedlecki, each of whom is the subject of a substantial essay. The editorial section opens with a selection of poems by Stanisław Kalina Jaglarz from his forthcoming poetry collection, as well as an interview with Maria Loboda. Zuzanna Bartoszek has written an essay inspired by one of her latest paintings. You can read about the affinities between artists from different generations in the article on the work of Louise Nevelson and Sofia Hultén. The magazine also features two thematic essays: the first analyses the concept of the border through the prism of artistic practices from various parts of the world, while the second addresses the issue of value in art. You can also find out about the pioneering activities of the OHO Group – whose work is part of the collection of the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź – at the intersection of land art, arte povera, body art and conceptual art, among other movements. An interview with Kira Marina von Bismarck explores the activities of the Kira A. Princess of Prussia Foundation, her long-term collaborations, and her support for creative individuals working between visual arts and music. The summer issue also features conversations about selected exhibitions, including an interview with one of the curators of this year’s Manifesta 16 Ruhr. The magazine concludes with a feature on the work of Marianna Simnett and her film commissioned by Pompeii Commitment, which, by connecting distant eras, explores violence, transformation and the crossing of boundaries.
